I don't think video 1 is the right input for S-Video. Try different input settings on the TV setup menu, in fact try them all one by one till you get a picture. If you can't get a picture check the lead.

Second sale cost for a TV will depend on its mode., condition and so many other matters. Can't predict.

Try a cheap universal remote you can pick them up for around $10 au.

It's possible that the AUX channel was erased from the display menu. Go to your CHANNEL SET menu choice and and use your DOWN CHANNEL button to see if the AUX channel will come back.

As far as fixing goes, you might as well get a new TV... Unless its a LARGE EXPENSIVE HOLY $%^# TV, It will cost more to fix, than to just buy a new one, unless its under warranty, which being an older model as that (or so im reading) It may not be covered.

Try unplugging the TV, and while unplugged, hold down the power button for a full minute (yes, with the plug NOT in the wall) after a minute, plug it back in, and try. Its a hard reset. If it still does not work, and you've tried different outlets, It's probably a repair issue, and you'll need to get someone to fix it, or just junk it :-/

Try going to the menu and changing it back from there! If all else fails then just keep pushing every button on the remote and im sure you will hit the right one!!!!
