Sylvania CT-R1628SRJ blows fuse
It's the fuse in the electric engine. You can bypass this fuse by cutting it off and then you just connect the two ends together, wrap with electrical tape. It'll work, that's what I did to mine. Works great again

My flat screen Sylvania TV is flashing different colors what's wrong
Better late than never. The problem is that your TV is in the service mode. There are many ways this can happen. But, lets just get down to fixin this! With the original remote and the TV on. If the TV will not shut off, do this. Press the left cursor button on the remote, followed with pressing the right cursor. Power off the TV with remote, or press off button on TV.
Secondly, your TV will power on and off. But you have flashing colors. Do this. With the original remote and TV on. Press the up cursor button, on the remote, followed with pressing the down cursor. Power off TV with remote, or press off power of TV. Thanks for asking me, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

How do I get the manual for sylvania SCR1388B
Curtis International which made the Sylvania clock radio no longer has any support for its legacy electronics. ManualsLib has manuals for several Sylvania clock radio models here:
https://www.manualslib.com/brand/sylvania/clock-radio.html . They have a link for the SCR1388B,
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/944856/Sylvania.html . This document doesn't list the SCR1388B on the cover page. However, the two clock radios are probably similar enough that the manual will help you use your clock radio. If this manual doesn't provide enough details, please check some of the other manuals listed at the first link above.
I hope this helps. ManualsLib does provide an option to get the manual as a PDF. See the Download button near the top of the page. You will need to go through some CAPTCHA checks to download the file as a PDF.

How do I get my Sylvania MTS/SAP tv to switch over to video mode
Hi Elsie-
If you do not have the remote, you can change inputs by doing the following:
Changing inputs
Inputs are selected by using a number of methods, depending on the model of your Sylvania TV. Switching inputs is usually accomplished by pressing the "Input Select" button on the remote. Each press will simply cycle through each available input on your TV. If no remote is available, the front panel has a button that matches the function on the remote. This button is located on the bottom-right side of the TV and doubles as the "Enter" button when accessing onscreen menus.
Hope this helps.

Why does it indicate 'wrong region'?
DVDs come imprinted with a region code for the geographical area they are sold in. DVD players sold in the same area(s) have the same region code. If you purchase DVDs made for a different region code, they will not play on your player. This is done to prevent piracy and copyright violators. Players can have their region codes changed, but then anything you have already will not play, and you are usually limited to three or four region changes before the player will not allow any more.
Here is a link to a Wikipedia article explaining Region Codes in more detail....
