Hi, well ALL TV's can be controlled from the Buttons ON the actual TV itself, look carefully on the TV, you will find a set of buttons, usually about 7. They should be marked, ON/OFF, CH UP, DOWN, MENU, ENTER/OK/SELECT, VOL UP/DOWN. Now Multiple presses will access differing features on the set, usually after pressing the ON/OFF button, you press the menu button and select your Input, Tuner, external, etc, once set, you Change the channel with the UP/DOWN key, and the Volume with the -,+ Key.

U can't get to channels 3 or 4 without a remote.Ur getting stuck on these particular channels 26,35 and 19 mean the last owner put these channels on the tv memory.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact remote or very close to the original,if u want make use of this tv.

Remote codes are part of the universal remote, not the TV. Try the Sylvania codes in the manual with the remote. If the code is not there, the REMOTE does not have the instructions to run the TV.

During a recent move the remote was lost. I have the 6420FF in my son's room and trying to set up dvd and wi console set up, but cannot adjust tv via menu button on tv. Is there any way to set-up game system and/or dvd without remote?
