I can't figure out how to take night shots with my new Fuji s8200
Taking pictures at night is just like taking pictures during the day, except it's darker. In order to get enough light to the image sensor, you need to either increase the sensor sensitivity (increase the ISO), open up the aperture (smaller f/numbers), use a longer exposure (which may require putting the camera on a tripod or other stable platform), or a combination of the three. Or put more light on the subject, perhaps by using the flash.
The flash on your camera doesn't put out very much light (when compared to the sun). You can't use it for subjects far from the camera, or when you want things at different distances illuminated evenly.
You didn't state the model of your camera so I'm afraid I can't tell you how to change any of the three settings I mentioned in the first paragraph.

Camera turns on, but does not take a photo lens does not close
Hello. First, make sure the battery is properly charged and/or there has been no battery leakage or other such damage inside the battery compartment. Next, since the lens won't close, the camera senses an error condition and is programmed to shut down. Has the camera been exposed to heat(hot car) or any kind of moisture? Check carefully for impact damage--if the lens is crooked or has become mis-aligned. Has the camera been to the beach recently? Blowing sand(which can be almost non-viewable to the human eye) is notorious for jamming electronic equipment such as camcorders or cameras. Barring any battery problem, the camera will most likely need to be seen by a qualified tech.---Rick

Metz 54 mz 3 on X-E2
What do you mean with Adapter?
You know Metz makes a range of Speed lights, for a range of different camera brands. It is not only the hot shoe that looks different for most brands, also the firmware in the Speed light is different. So your camera should have the same protocol as the brand you bought your Mezt for.
The good news is. I use both Nikon and Metz Speed lights. My Metz is from my Canon days, but when using it remote, I can use it with my Nikon, on the flash trigger that my small Speed light on the camera fires. So the wireless (light) remote, is standard for most brands.

Silent mode on fugifilm x-M1 digital camera not working
For silent mode the manual says o page 84: In the Setup Menu Options: Select ON to disable the speaker, flash, and illuminator in situations in which camera sounds or lights may be unwelcome (note that silent mode can not be enabled or disabled during movie playback). Silent mode can also be turned on or off using the DISP/BACK button as described on page 4.
Perhaps you try this one?

Camera will not come on
If you have a USB cable to tether it to a computer try that. It should provide power if the battery is dead and will enable you to figure out if the camera has a problem or the battery has a problem.

Camera on Fuji S 4250 will not come on only in replay mode
Did you use the on/off switch? did you toggle with the display button (arrow to the right) and are you sure the battery is charged?
Last but not least, are you sure the lens is not blocked? careful feel if the lens can move a little and there is nothing in or around the lens barrel, that obstructs free movement.
