Emerson TC2556D TV Questions & Answers
Emerson TC2556D
Doesn't sound like there's any pattern on this shutdown??? I'd suspect poor solder connections first. Might look at R447 and R448 located in the right front corner of the PCB. They are both 2.7k/2w resistors that get quite hot during normal operation. This heat can cause ring cracking and thus the symptoms you're describing here.
Don't limit your search there. If you find either or both of these ring cracked take the time to inspect the rest of the board with great attention to detail in the higher thermal areas of the board.
Television not getting all of the channels
I hate to tell you this but you cannot add channels without an original replacement remote, and that costs about 40 bucks here http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&smodel=TC2556D&brand_pn=EMERSON_TC2556D&mode=large&uid=11743431409220
This remote if you notice has an add, delete, and the auto buttons. A universal will not have these functions on it. Good Luck.
How to setup a onn remote control to a emerson TV

2. Consult the ONN remote manual for Emerson TV codes.
3. Press TV on the ONN remote.
4. Enter the correct code.

My Emerson DVD player says Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc
The error message "Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc" can have a few different causes. Here are some of the most common:
- The disc is not compatible with the DVD player. Some DVD players are only compatible with certain regions or formats of discs. If the disc you are trying to play is not compatible with your DVD player, you will get this error message.
- The disc is damaged. If the disc is scratched, dirty, or otherwise damaged, it may not be able to be read by the DVD player.
- The DVD player is faulty. If the DVD player is faulty, it may not be able to read discs correctly.
Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:
- Try playing the disc in another DVD player. If the disc plays in another DVD player, then the problem is with your DVD player.
- Clean the disc. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the disc. Be careful not to scratch the disc.
- Format the disc. If the disc is formatted for a different region or format, you may need to format it for your DVD player.
- Reset the DVD player. If the DVD player is faulty, you may need to reset it.
If you have tried all of these things and you are still getting the error message, then you may need to replace the DVD player.

Anyone know the start and run cap values on an Emerson LR63596 model T63XWBSS1486, labels have deteriorated
The capacitor values for the Emerson LR63596 model T63XWBSS1486 motor will depend on the specific application and the motor's specifications. Without more information about the motor's voltage, horsepower, and other details, it's difficult to give a precise answer.
However, as a general rule, the capacitor values for single-phase AC motors like the Emerson LR63596 typically range from around 5-80 microfarads (µF) for the start capacitor, and 5-100 µF for the run capacitor.
That being said, it's important to note that the specific capacitor values required for your motor may be different, and using the wrong values could cause damage to the motor or affect its performance. Therefore, it's recommended to consult the motor's documentation or a qualified technician to determine the correct capacitor values for your specific application.

Where are fuses on a Emerson TV model # LD190EM2
Fuses are solder in, and chances of a fuse blowing without other bad components are slim, take it in for service or better yet buy a new TV unless you have a multimeter and know how to trouble shoot a tv

Emerson LTDN42V68US television will not power on. The light just blinks red continuously ..
What's happening with your TV is the backlight inverter is sensing over current and shutting the entire power supply down (excluding the standby supply) this gives the 1 blink code. Reason for over current is open circuit in the LED backlights, you will need to replace the lamps to fix the issue, there is about a 2% chance of it being a faulty power supply but in most cases it's the lamps. This is common on most Funai brand sets.
