Did you get the connector hooked up coming from the IR board to the TV?

Using the channel buttons use the down button to get to channel 2, if you keep pushing the down button it will take you to the HDMI, AV ect inputs

You have issues with the EEPROM, a new one can be ordered and soldered in but it takes advaced soldering skills...may be best to replace the board

Could be a power or main board issue, only way to find what board is bad is to do some voltage tests

This could be a bad main or power board along with bad LED backlights, some voltage tests are needed to isolate the issue

Try running the tape end to end twice on fast forward.

If you haven't already taken the batteries out of the remote try that, if that doesn't help you have a bad IR control or main board
