My HDD065 will not charge and is not recognised by

If you let the battery get too low, the battery will not charge because the motherboard does not have enough power to control the charge process. There are two ways to fix this. 1) buy a new battery that will be supplied fully charged. 2) borrow a friends HDD065, fully recharge the battery and remove it. Place the battery in your player and turn it on. Put your player on charge. Without turning your player off or removing the charger, remove your friends battery and place yours in it. It may take a couple of attempts but you should be able replace your battery and keep the player operational. Leave your battery to fully charge.

How Do I Restart my Philips MP3 Player??/

It could be a hardware issue requiring replacement, but here are the things you can try to narrow it down:
1. Make sure the hold/lock is not engaged
2. Reset the player
3. Run an Update using the latest version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips website
4. Run a Repair in Philips Device Manager

Download the newest version of the Philips Device Manager:
www.usasupport.philips.com - change your country/language as needed
Enter in your exact model #
Click on the link for your exact model #
Click on the Software & Drivers section
Click on "Firmware Upgrade Software"
Install the new Device Manager
Open and run the "Repair" tab

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

If these methods fail, call Philips to see if you are still in-warranty.

TV REMOTE CONTROL NOT WORKING

1. Turn your TV on.

2. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

4. Press tv on your Sky remote control again.

5. Key in the four digit code for your brand of TV. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice. If the light blinks once only, recheck the code for your brand of TV and start again at Step 1.

6. Press the standby button on your Sky remote control. If your TV switches off, press select. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice (code stored). If your TV does not switch off, press tv, then press the standby button. Repeat this (press tv, then standby) until your TV turns off, then press select (stores code).

If at this point the LED on the Sky remote control blinks three times then all possible codes for that make of receiver have been checked. Repeat from step one, ensuring that you enter the correct manufacturer code.

At the end of the sequence, if you see the TV Guide screen, the remote control setup process is complete. If you did not see the TV Guide screen, you must now complete the following steps.

8. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

9. Hold down select and the green button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

10. Key in the number of the channel on your TV that you use for watching satellite TV.

11. Press select on your Sky remote control. The red light blinks twice. The remote control setup process is complete.

Lost disc

You will have to use MusicMatch to transfer files.
and heres some more stuff:

-firmware update, though you should check with them to see if it is required
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/...t=Link_Software

-manual
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/...ink_UserManuals

If that didnt work you can always:

Plug in you mp3player,
Go into My Computer,
open 'Phillips' and go into music.
then open the file where you keep your songs
and drag them from Music to Phillips

Good luck, Please rate

Cant put tracks on gogear as musicmatch not compatable with vista help

Try transferring with Windows Media Player instead - see if the GoGear icon appears on the left hand side of the WMP screen (while the GoGear isp lugged in). If it does, then you can transfer and delete songs through Windows Media Player.

Battery for GoGear HDD065/05

Hi, you can get a battery on ebay, there is another solution if you know someone with the same player. The player will not charge or start up if the battery gets too low. Borrow a friends player HDD 065 / 075. Remove their fully charged battery (make sure their player is off) and place it in your player. Switch on the player (should work now) and plug in the mains charger. Without turning the player off or unplugging the mains charger remove your friends battery and replace yours. Leave the player to charge the battery until full. This should solve your problem provided your battery is flat and not damaged. Do not place the flat battery in your friends player as this can cause problems if they have upgraded firmware.

Player + radio hdd kt 0043001137

Need more information, but try this:
There are a few different possibilities.

1)Your subscription to your digital music service such as Napster, etc has expired. Sorry - unless you renew your subscription, you will not be able to play these songs again.
2) Your songs have DRM-encryption on them. To check and see, right click on an individual song name in Windows Media Player, and click on "License" or "Digital Rights"; if the affected songs have DRM encryption, then get DRM-removal software.
3) Your songs do NOT have DRM-encryption on them. In this instance, follow the procedure for item#2, except click on the link in the License or digital Rights tab that says "acquire license" (make sure you are connected to the internet first).
