You can do it if they included your restoration hardware on a separate drive with your pc. Sometimes insead of including actual disks, they install it on a separate partician that you can access. If I were you I would go to the E Machines website and click on support then enter your serial number and information and download your retoration hardware from there.

This series of beeps tells us that your RAM is some-times not being seen by the computer system.

You need to remove the RAM modules and clean the gold finger connectors with tissue paper.

Clean out as much dust as you can with a vacuum cleaner, then reinsert the modules in the correct orientation.

Easy as they will only go in one way. There is a cut out on the RAM module that separates the gold finger connectors.

Kind Regards

You need to boot into safe mode. Windows is hanging on some start up file..... press F8 after first screen when you start computer if you can get into safe mode fine. then goto start>accessories>run and type msconfig then hit enter. under general tab select " selective start up and uncheck all but use original boot configuration. reboot regular. if this works then you need to to run check disk. this is done by right clicking the c: drinve in my computer and goto properties then check disk for errors. will tell you it cant and offer to run at next start up. allow it to and see if this helps. if it is vista or windows 7 run the start up repair from the cd, or restore to an earlier restore point when it worked fine. something is trying to load that isnt there any more.

Not sure that this is what you need, but should work. If you have Windows OS, try pressing F8 when booting. A menu will be given on the screen. Will have to choose SAFE MODE and when windows loads go to START MENU-PROGRAMS-ACCESSORIES-SYSTEM TOOLS and choose SYSTEM RESTORE

all you have to do is plug in the usb flash drive to your usb port, no special drivers needed, there are lots of site that offers a flash drive. why not get an external HDD? it would be better so that if the same problem happened agaian you can have a back-up copy of your files on an external HDD

The buzzing alarm is a beep code which indicates a hardware problem.
Try removing the system memory and clean the brass contacts and the slots it goes into, then reseat the memory and try to boot again, the memory looks like this >>>>>>>

What you need is a soft, clean, dry paintbrush.
Remove the powercord from the back of the PC.
Start by removing the ram and clean the contacts with the brush, then clean the brass contacts, reset the memory and the powercord and try booting the computer.
If it still won't boot count the beeps and how long they are and post back here.

it may be the mother board or the ports try using a usb keyboard sometimes that works

E-Machines W3052... | Answered on Jun 04, 2009 | 454 views

My computer does a similar thing, the issue with mine is the mother board which requires everything to be at a certain temperature. Let it run on the start screen for a couple minutes and hit the reset button. If it doesn't boot up you're going to have to get more involved with your PC. Turn off the power, unplug the cord from your power supply, open the case, look for the battery and the JP8 (CLRTC) jumper. Move the jumper from pins 1-2 over to 2-3, wait 30 seconds, and move the jumper back. Close the case, plug in the power cord, turn on your machine, and boot it up. If it still fails to boot check that all cables are securely attached (inside and out), check that the RAM is securely seated, and check the CMOS battery to be sure it is not dead. Beyond this you're looking at a component failure and should contact a repair tech.

P.S. if you feel up to it and can't wait for service, pull the hard drive out of the first computer and use it in a different computer. Be sure to unplug the hard drive from the second computer.
