eMachines doesn't give out this kind of info, and I don't have one in the shop.
eMachines also had the habit, of using a few different manufacturer's of motherboards. Intel, TriGem, MSI, Asus, and FIC to name five.
Plus eMachines would use whatever was available at THAT moment, when they were producing that particular model line. (Not stating the T2958 specifically. Whatever model line they were making at the time)
Plus at the time the T2958 was made, Gateway had bought out eMachines. (eMachines later bought themselves back)
However all is not lost here. At the time the T2958 was made the motherboards were manufactured by Intel.
The Intel D845GVSR
Uses the Intel D845GV MCH, and the Intel ICH4 southbridge chipset
(MCH. Memory Controller Hub. Intel's naming for their Northbridge chipset)

You are looking to see where the wires go, on the Front Panel header of the motherboard, from the Front Panel of your computer.
(Front Panel header on a motherboard, is essentially where the wires go that come from the Front Panel of the computer. When referring to a connector on a motherboard, a connector is a Header.
The Power On switch wires, HDD Activity Lamp, Reset switch, {If used}, and Power On Lamp, are located in the Front Panel, for your computer)
{Front Panel = 'Face'}
As stated, eMachines does not give out this info.
I just need your patience, and your eyes. I need you to compare a photo of a motherboard to yours.
When you open your computer case, the side cover should come off of the Left side.
The back of the computer will be to the Left, the front to the right.
The Processor will be at the top of the motherboard, and the Ram Memory slots will be to the right.
Observe the motherboard photo at the top of this page,

Should you have no idea of what I'm referring to here, please come back, and state so in a Comment.
The Front Panel header is composed of three individual headers, (Connectors) for this motherboard.
J9F2, J9G1, and J8H3
The J9F2 is for the USB ports used in the Front Panel. We won't be concerning ourselves with this header.
J8H3 is located to Right side of the CMOS battery. It has two pins sticking up.
This is where the Power On LED light plugs into, IF, the Power On LED light has Two wires, and the light is one solid color when lit up.
J9G1 is located below the CMOS battery, and is located on the bottom edge of the motherboard.
There are two rows of pins sticking up.
The rows are parallel to the edge of the motherboard.
The top row has 4 pins.
The bottom row next to the edge of the motherboard has 5 pins.
The pins are numbered from the Left, going to the Right. There MAY be a number 1, or 2, stamped on the motherboard.
I wouldn't count on it.
The top row of pins, going from the Left towards the Right are,
2, 4, 6, and 8.
The bottom row of pins going from the Left towards the Right are,
1, 3, 5, 7, and 9
There is no Pin 10.
1) Pins 1 and 3 are for the Harddrive Activity light. (HDD)
2) Pins 2 and 4 are used for a Power On LED also.
3) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch
