Somehow the clock is displaying 24 hour time

Push the mode button twice to enter the "set time" mode. Once the digital display is blinking, keep pushing "mode" until the PM display section in the upper left corner comes on. Once that happens you are back to the 12 hour clock. To set the clock, use the 1-4 buttons to set the hours and minutes.

Hope this helps.

12 hour vs 24 hour read on clock

Push the "mode" button twice to enter the time change function. Once the display is blinking keep pushing the mode button until you see the "pm" icon on the LCD display. When that happens set the clock as you normally would using the 1-4 keys.

Remember to check if the 12 hour clock is set to AM or PM.

Good luck.

Set clock, date, alarm on

Can you clarify what you need help with? To SET THE CLOCK push the "Mode" button twice. (The current time setting flashes on the display) Once it is flashing, Decrease the hours by pressing "1" Increase hours by pressing "2" Decrease minutes by pressing "3" and increase minutes by pressing "4". If no additional buttons are pressed the time will reset in about 10 seconds and the display will stop blinking.

TO SET THE DATE press the "mode" button 4 times. The current date setting will flash on the display. Decrease the date by pressing 3. Increase the date by pressing 4.

Decrease months by pressing 1. Increase the months by pressing 2. The date will reset in about 10 seconds when you stop pushing the buttons.

TO SET THE ALARM Press the "mode "button once. The display will begin to flash. Change the hours by pressing either 1 (increase) or 2 (decrease). To change the minutes, press 3 or 4. 3 decreases the minutes and 4 increases the minutes. Once you have the time reset, leave the unit alone for about 10 seconds. the display will stop blinking indicating the time has been reset.

TO ACTIVATE THE ALARM push the round button on the far right. You will see the alarm icon come on or off on the LCD display on the right side. Be sure you have set the AM or PM time correctly on the alarm time. It helps to recheck this now as I have made this mistake several times.

If you get stuck on military time and want the 12 hour clock the answer is posted on this site, as well.

Hope this helps.

No sound from radio or CD

First, do you have a cord to plug it in? Make sure it's plugged in. Then turn the unit upside down. Inside the battery department is a "reset" slot. Insert the tip of an unbent paperclip into the opening to reset the unit, display and memory..

Press the power button located on the lower half of the unit and adjust the volume switch located on the lower left of the unit. Sharper Image is out of business. The licensing has been bought by another company. Their customer service number is 877-714-7444. They are not servicing older units but may be able to offer some assistance. Changing between the buzz and cd setting for alarm clock

From the manual (miraculously, I still have it)...

To switch the alarm sound between buzzer, church bells, radio or CD, press MODE one time, and then press REPORT.

If CD is selected, press TUNING up (>>+) or down (-<<) to select desired wake-up track.

When alarm sounds, press ALM ON/OFF to silence alarm and reset it for the next day.

SNOOZE-BOOST

To postpone the alarm once it sounds, press SNOOZE/LIGHT. Each press of this button will add 10 minutes to the postponement time. (Pressing three times will give you a 30-minute delay).
