I don't know about ordering a replacement manual. I can point you to a copy available at Timex Audio's support page: http://timexaudio.com/support/ . Use the drop down menu to select T235 and you will be able to download the manual as a PDF. From there you can print the document or simply read it using Adobe Reader or a similar program. I never have seen this model but guess it's similar to any other CD-Radio model. You can download a manual from here https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T618_IB59176_84.pdf It should have a switch to select CD player. Once you select CD player, open CD lid, insert a CD and play If won't play, CD player is defective and if you don't know how to repair it you should take it to a repair service and evaluate if it's worth to reapir.

Couldn't find one but usually you hold down a button marked alarm while using the up or down control of another function such as volume. Click the up/down once to go slow and hold it down to scan through fast. Good luck.
