Cameras normally have a setting where you can turn the date stamp on or off. Just browse through the menu. It will be there somewhere. In he case of the photos already taken with the date stamp you will be able to remove it with the brush tool in Photoshop.

I just had the same problem. The LCD screen or onboard computer had gone bad. Nothing I could do but send it in to be repaired

Plug the camera into your computer and check If they are still there but they are most likely gone and wont be able to be recovered

i had same problem..and it was the batteries they were not charged enough to turn the screen on

I think you have a hardware problem. So you must check it one by one. But try to focus at your camera mic that location in the under the chasing. You can clean it or check it alive or not and it connected exactly with your board. If you have done and the problem still same, may be you can bring it to service center. Cause it's have a lot off explanation, from schema and component electricity.

Didn't have driver for camera when I bought it

Look for the camera to appear in "My Computer" (Win. XP) or "Computer" (Vista), as a "device with removable storage" . If you open "My Computer" and then connect the camera you should notice a drive with a new letter appear and that will be the camera.

You dont need the disc to download to computer.Take the card from the camera and put it into the card reader on your computer if one is fitted, if not you need one that goes into a USB slot When the card is inserted into the reader a box will open on the screen with several options as to view images or download them.

I would also download Picasa 3 which puts your photos in date order and also has photo editing. This is a free download and is part of google.

most of the time its the battery or the battery holder. check to see if the batteries are in right. if they are, check to see if they are pressed against the holder. thats all i can see is wrong.
