Use a temporary external USB mouse, Click Start button from your laptop. The power switch is a momentary switch.. Its just closing a circuit to tell the computer to turn on.. If you "hotwired" the switch to constant then it will never boot because it has a constant connection instead of the momentary it needs as its boot signal.

the charging port in the laptop is either loose or has a bad soilder on it.

try going to device manager and try to see there if your sound card is in the list, if its not then your sound card is defective. by the way, did you install the right driver for your sound card. virtual sound drive wont work if you have the wrong sound card driver and a defective sound card.thanks.
