It is indeed worthwhile contacting Sharpe, as often, a service bulletin, has been issued, that maybe to do with your set, and if your set was in the repair bulletin, then you may even get your set fixed for free, or at the least very subsidized. So you see until, you contact, an Authorised Service Canter, and inquire, always ask for a "Quote" this way, you can find out what's wrong and how much, you can expect to pay.
