Sharp lc-22sv6u won,t power on. no green light.
Sound like the TV is in protection mode. This happens when a part goes bad inside. the TV turns OFF to protect the other parts from being damaged.
Most commonly it's a power supply related issue. A bad capacitor or transformer on the power supply board is to blame.
For a do-it-yourself fixer with electronic experience, a Service Manual is the best for trouble shooting the problem down to the bad part. Normally, you can find it over the internet for less than $20.
No sound
I have ran into this symptom on that set. What I found after hours of troubleshooting was that on the bottom of the circuit board that connects to the speakers inside of the set, there is a heat transfer putty that actually melted allowing the audio heatsink to touch the bottom of the circuit board. There were burn marks where the piece of metal heatsink had arced across. The disassembly/reassembly process was the hardest part of this repair because of the amount of screws and the way the boards were mounted on top of each other in close proximity. If you attempt this yourself look for a small 10 ohm surface mount resistor to open on bottom of board or any other charred component. Then discard or resecure heatsink that cuased problem. Either will work. Good luck, Russmann.
Sharp ac adapter uadp-a048wjpz not working
The general problem with LCD type TV's is that the power supply fails.
They are very sophisticated designs that are difficult to troubleshoot
and generally best to just replace the module, but sometimes there is
visible damage in some of the electrolytic capacitors (visibly bulged)
and higher voltage rated parts can be substituted.
Hope Ya Fix It
Sharp TV LC60LE745U the screen remained black and an arrow on the bottom of the TV stay blinking
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
