Sharp aquos display comes on for a few seconds then blank screen
I have the same problem with my 37" HP which is the same as Sharp Aquos, it's bad backlight inverter boards, the screen comes on for a second then nothing, no menu, no channel change indicator then turn it off and you hear the clicking of the power supply about 10 seconds after.
Loss of sync
Try resetting and resort to factory default mode if necessary.
MY PICTURE KEEPS FREEZING AFTER A FEW MINUTES BUT SOUND REMAINS
Look for any jammed buttons on the remote. Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.
Power failure
if their is no power indicator at all that was mean the power supply failure. look for blown fuse, if the fuse is blown with darkened color you need to check first other component that get shorted pin before you replaced the fuse like zener diode and fet transistor. if you don't have an idea on how it will be trouble shot just send it to the service center near you.
Why am I not getting any sound from the tv?
Can be due to many reasons, start from the speakers, check the output amplifier, checck the audio out to another amp to confirm , is not the preamp or the If section can be a suspect. Only a signal test will confirm. check the menu and sound settings.
Can't turn closed caption off on our Samsung Series 7000 LED TV
Make sure it isn't your cable or satellite TV service making the captions, as closed captions on your TV are separate from the ones produced by your service provider. If it isn't your cable/ satellite, open the TV menu and find the Audio/Visual properties section of the menu (audio and visual might be separate sections), and find the closed captions or CC options menu. When you do just change the setting from whatever it is on, to off. If your TV remote is fancier than mine (which it probably is), their could possibly be a closed caption button on the remote for easy access. In this case just push the button and change what you need to.
