My ipod says www.apple.com/support/ipod

This indicates that the hard drive inside the iPod classic has gone bad.

Check Apple's Warranty web page to see if your iPod is still under warranty: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

Simply type in the Serial Number located on the back of the iPod, and your location. Who knows, if you are lucky, you may be able to send it in to get it fixed/replaced for free.

My ipod 80gb is saying apple.com/support/ipod

Try resetting it. Sometimes that's all it needs.

To reset iPod, iPod (scroll wheel), iPod (touch wheel), and iPod (dock connector) ipodg1-2.gif ipodg3.gif
  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.
If you are still unable to reset your iPod, use only one finger from one hand to press the Center (Select) button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Menu button.
When you reset iPod all your music and files are saved, but some customized settings may be lost. Date and time are preserved (unless the iPod reset itself because it had no power and then was reconnected to power). Other customized settings, such as Bookmarks, On-The-Go Playlists, Shuffle, Backlight timer, and so forth are preserved from the last time the hard drive turned on.

IPOD8GB WILL NOT COME ON/CHARGE

Connect the Ipod to the PC and if this is not detected then test on another PC before we can confirm that the ipod has errors within and must be referred. If not the memory must be scanned, remove files if they are corrupt , reload only if the ipod after reset switches on to work.

Hi im having problems with my ipod can u please

Hi,have you loaded the ipod? If not you will need to first register your product and download the drivers- iTunes software- so that the media to be loaded to the Ipod must be converted and copied to the Ipod from your PC.So in this case you need to connect to the official site and register your product, then proceed to download and install.

My apple ipod 8gb will

Either it's got liquid damage, the main board is dead, or the power unit has quit. If it doesn't power up when plugged in, it's probably one of the first two. Or it does power up and the screen doesn't work, so you don't know it. It's out or warranty so if you can't get it working, Apple with replace it for around 120 dollars, or you can trade it in for a new model for 10% off.

My ipod says www.apple.com/support/ipod

you can try this: the iPod should be fully charged
  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
If not working, verify you have the latest iTunes then:
    • 1 Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer.
    • 2 After a few moments, it will appear in the source list in iTunes.
    • 3. Select your iPod in the source list and you will see information about it appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
    • 4. Click the Restore button.

If nothing works, it can be the hard drive, so if you feel like it, crack open the iPod and unplug the drive, then replug it gently and start it up. It worked with mine with the same kind of issue.
Cheers

When i turn on my

The first thing is to connect your iPod to the computer it is paired with. When iTunes recognizes it, click the button returning it to factory settings. This will delete all data from your iPod, but should repair any software problems.
If iTunes is having a problem recognizing the iPod, than place it into Disk Mode: (From http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/earlier/)
  1. Before placing the iPod into disk mode, you should verify that it is charged.
  2. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Set it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  3. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears
  5. Connect the iPod to your computer; the screen on the iPod will change and say "Do not disconnect"

If you are having difficulty putting the iPod model into disk mode, set it on a flat surface. Make sure that the finger pressing the Select button is not touching the Click Wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Play/Pause button toward the outside of the Click Wheel and not near the center.

If you are still unable to put your iPod with a Click Wheel into Disk Mode, use one finger from one hand to press the Select button, and one finger from the other hand to press the Play/Pause button.
