How to open my dell speakers

from what you describe it sounds like you may have broke the jack, or a resistor has broke down inside.without the model of speaker I cannot be sure how to open them but most desktop speakers if not screwed together are put together with clips. by finding the join on the speakers and then inserting the driver carefully you can locate the retaining clips and prise open them.. however only do this is you dont care if they break.

Where can I download a driver for Altec Lansing

HI, maybe theres been a bit of confusion but your Altec Lansing ADA745 speakers shouldn't need any drivers.
Its kind of similar to you plugging in a pair of headphones into your cumputer, they should work just fine.
Are you not getting any sound? Post the details of your PC (is it a dell?)
model number etc... and describe your problem
You probably need audio drivers for your audio device(inside your pc on your motherboard),

On a 2000 Ford Taurus, What needs to be disasembled in order to fix the turn signal arm

electrical, check fuses for turn signals, check light bulbs but if you think it is the turn signal switch or arm you need to take the 2 or 3 screws that hold the cover for the steering column then you can get to the arm it should have either a clip or a screw that holds it in place it should pop right off

Sound problem

Try to determine if it is a hardware issue or a driver issue. First thing you can try is use a working earphones and test if its working. If not, most probably the problem is within the hardware of your computer where you connect the speakers. However, if the earphones works fine, try to check your speakers settings and connections. There is possibility that the speakers' wiring is faulty.

My speaker jack isn't working

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers if you don't have a disk with the sound drivers you have to download them the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
