What else could the problem be?

To what fault did you replaced the power board recently. With a failure to it? If so, check whether you have replaced it with same part number [board number] itself, or not. If yes, the now the fault is with its main board. Damaged component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Color splotches

I had same problem, or should I say I still have it, slowly getting worse, and I had replaced the Y board which would be logical based on description of what board controls, but it didn't help. I found out it is the plasma screen, and not worth replacing, so I put up with it until picture is all full of shadows, then will part it out. Last time I had issues with capacitors a few years ago, I spent $400. on several boards, including Y board trying to isolate problem, that is how I learned it didn't help the shadows creeping in after warming up. Live with it or buy a new TV is what I am doing.

My remote lost all functions. this is about 10 years old and a 42 inch screen

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

Dell w4200ed power problem

In most cases it is going to be a power supply board problem, and usually it is capacitor leaking which fails to allow one of the critical voltages to come up which then defaults and won't power up. Had this problem on mine and it was indeed a common problem of leaking capacitor which you can see if you look close at tops of the large capacitors, they will have a bulge on top, very obvious, and easy to replace. A red LED will light up on power board, so look for it after unplugging and plugging back in, then hit power, you will hear a click when LED lights, sure indicator of one of the voltages missing.

Where can I find a upper Y board for a Pioneer PDP-5050HD Plasma TV?

Easiest way is to get the ID number from board and put it in Google search, or ebay, surely you will find many, used and new, but you have to start with board ID for the make and model of TV is often using the same boards from many other brands.

Need speaker wires and speakers

Speakers are rarely the problem, remember, you have two, and if one only went out, then it is obvious it is a speaker or wire problem, but when both don't work, look at audio output board which is the problem. Better solution as I have learned is to simply buy a sound bar which have come down in price dramatically over the years. I replaced audio output board with used one, and it also went bad a month later, so I added sound bar and in a year and a half, no other problems, so disconnect your external speakers which were not great to begin with and save time and money with soundbar. try changing your settings all back to stereo mode and turning off all audio extras, also try changing the cable, give the ends a good blow, sometimes bits of dust can stop certain pins from connecting correctly. 9 times out of 10 they are normally solve the problem,if not then it could be a circuit board problem.
