Sounds like a high voltage transformer failed.

You will need to call a serviceman to repair if your not technically handy and can solder.

Bad bulb, replace.

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast.Here's the instructions to replace it for a samsung but it's the same procedure for your rca :http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php Other common failures are the color wheel. The color wheel is a rotating disc that has a gamma of colors it spins at high rpms.The light of the lamp goes through it to create the colors on your tv.When it starts to go bad you will get color distortion ,black and white picture and sometimes you will hear humming noises.Have a blessed one But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 4000 hrs,1-2yrs it could be time to replace the lamp.

im joel a simple electroncis tech. try to adjust the settings but it does'nt work the i think 3 color inside ( red,blue,green) is one or two of them is deffective.so the best solution try to go the expert tech nothing else

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems that you have to replace the convergence IC and also check the power resistor, if values are not exact you have to replace them. These ICs are located behind the black heat sink; you can see once you open the back off the TV. Also, the convergence board should be checked for cracked solder joints and please make sure to check the resistors as if they are shot the ICs might blow again. All this is only recommended if you have electrical expertise and know how to solder/re-solder components, if not then you should get this done by a professional. The typical cost to get this fixed by a pro is around $250-$300. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Replace STK730-010 it will be located above bottom chassis on small board, will have Part number on it.

There can be several causes for this, few of which you can do anything about. However, a few things to try.

1) Replace the batteries on your remote control.
2) Try resetting the logic functions on your tv by unplugging it for a minute, then plugging it back in.
3) Try covering up the infra-red receptor on the front of your TV to see if you're getting unwanted signals from the receptor. taping a piece of foil over that area is perfect. If it doesn't stop after doing these two things you'll probably need to take it to a shop.
4) If this does stop it, then look for unexpected signal sources. Have you added a remote control extender? Added a new device to your audio-video system? Changed to a new remote?

This is a "Classic" Switchmode power supply problem The PSU, detects a "Fault" and shuts down, and starts up over and over. It is very unlikely that this can safely done by oneself. It is my professional opinion, that you get the unit serviced by an RCA approved (Very Important) repairer and ask for a free 'Quote" this way you will be appraised of the situation, and can then make an informed decision as to repair or replace. When I get such a job, at my shop, this is usually an expensive repair, so be prepared. Due to the fact that a Faulty TV set can, cause a Fire or an Explosion, it should always be looked at by professionals. Plus these days parts are hard to obtain, and the equipment required to service is beyond most people.

Check for main fuse open 4amps. Maybe pwr supply is going. Other possible thing Horizontal transistor ( short) stop run B+. Thank you

the red and white rca wire stands for audio (sound) and the yellow stands for video(display).

So connect the red, white and yellow wire as Out from the DVD and connect it to In of your TV.

After the connection, press AV from your TV remoter in order to watch your DVD on your TV.

The projectors are probably dirty.

Try cleaning the lenses with qtips and alcohol, then run autoconvergence. It should be perfect once again. Good luck..
