Check that switch on back by external speaker connectors is set to INT. Also check with remote in sound menu that speakers are on.

No,check for loose FBT-flyback tranformer connections a big black block of a plastic with a wire to a board section call highvoltage deflction board area.Useally the FBT is dead,require replacing and trouble shoot the deflection board area for other dead parts.Get quote prices from shops.Must hire a tv Tech. must do alot trouble shooting and replacing components.

can't fix that with remote.  sounds like convergence circuit has died.

Ur tv DM power supply board have dead leakages capacitors.U have tools,solders and soldering iron?U know how to do soldering.Tries websites like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com buy a capacitors kit to replaced dead leakage capacitors to the DM power supply board.

It sounds like a convegence problem due to dust on the lenses. Clean the lenses with qtips and alcohol and then use auto convergence in the menu screen.

You have a bad power supply component..likely one of the capacitors.

pop the speaker grill off, then take out the 1/4 inch screws and remove the screen, if it's behind the screen, simply brust it away, if it's between the 2 screens, then you must take them apart and remove the body. also while your in there, clean the lenses and mirror with some windex, this will greatly improve your picture.

Contact a Technician to check your HV section of your TV, sometimes the heater on CRT have no supply.

The clear bulb located back left side needed to be replaced. Too much heat causes the bulb to burn out. Simple fix. One screw to open door to bulb compartment. Two screws to remove bulb assembly. Thank goodness for extended service warranty which paid for it. This is the second one in three years. At the price of $200 for bulb and $100 for trip and labor, this is not an inexpensive fix. Anyone purchasing a projection tv should get an extended warranty.

yeah mine to,, ive found out which ever direction the color is goin out of line,, when u get 2 the convergence screen,, dont push ok,,push the direction the colors r messed up,, should help u,,good luck

Try the menu under setup, find convergence, it realigns the colors,, you are suposed 2 do that periodicly,, or when u move the tv,, should help you ,, ive got that same tv,,

You have a shutdown circuit. The shutdown circuit is working as it should by not allowing the TV to come on if it has a HV (high voltage) problem. This could be caused by a shorted HV Transistor in the Horizontal section or a defective IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer). In any case you will have to get a qualified TV repair person to troubleshoot and repair this problem. The problem is this is not just one of those problems that a person can say change this and the problem will be fixed. These kinds of problems require troubleshooting because other components may have gone bad too.

Try to contact the vendor of your TV (RCA) and see if this item is in stock, or go to your local TV shop and ask if they can locate another shop that may have one of these in stock, be prepared to pay about 350-500 dollars for this item.

You can try, but the problem is it won't work, you can join the two with clear glue, but the seem will show up in your picture, very much the way a patched screen displays the repair seen when it has been repaired. I would suggest getting in contact with RCA and ordering a new screen.
