What is the Chassis number printed on back? ITC222? Are you sure its the FBT?

there is most likely a bad connection on the power board. i really suggest not letting it do that all night unplug the tv it can do alot of damage to the tv if it cycles like that for long periods of time.

could be a setting on your dig-cable box routing audio elsewhere try that hopefully its a simple solution to your problem good luck

the fact that you have color on menu. is an idication this will be a small signal board issue.

At the back... small door.. remove old bulb and replace it with new. It could be blown and it is protecting the rest of the TV

convergence is off, convergence ICs need to be replaced

Most of the times, the power suppply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors alway bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get ur tv power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole rerfurbish power supply board for the replacement.

check AC cord, fuse, resistors in poer supply lines, rectifiers (diode), power regulator and horizontal output (transistor near flyback)

If there is a dark line with two sources such as a dvd player, and a game system, or a cable box, then the tv will need to be repaired. If not from two sources then the issue is with the only source causing the black line.

Replaced the picture bulb,will solved this problems.

CK 2 things Front Panel board contact switches become dirty or defective try cleaning all of them ,If you do not have contact cleaner you can use Rubbing alcohol to clean them with poor over contacts and press them up and down Let dry then try TV. Other thing could be Bad capacitors on your Deflection board cp150-cp114 cp120 If any of them are swollen,vented or puffed up on top replace all 3 capacitors.

If you can't find them in the sounds settings, then on the back the unit itself, there will be an actual switch(by the tuner)

Whistling and whirring is usually related to the color wheel. Does your TV have good picture still?

The part is called a Female Belling-Lee Socket. Radio Shack, or anywhere that sells antennas, CB radios, repairs TV sets, should have one. Soldering it in, is another matter. Be careful.

Try getting a universal remote that is compatible with that tv. Always look on the back of the remote packaging and it will tell whats compatible
