Why does plugging in headphones cause erratic operation?
Try using using another set of headphones. If the problem persists even with another headphone, your phone may have hardware issues.
Also, if the headphones have multiple buttons like vol up and down or skip track etc, one of the buttons may be stuck or faulty.
If all fails, take your phone to the shop for warranty or repair.
I cannot receive any text messages that contain a picture
There are a few things to do that may fix your issue:
1. Delete text messages off of your phone (especially if you have hundreds of texts to one recipient)
2. Go to settings in your "messager" app and reset setting to default.
3. Make sure your APN settings are correct:

My zte maven won't turn on or charge
If your chargers a loose in the phone, that a part in your charging port broke off and it is cheaper to buy another Maven.
Make sure it is not your charger by using other ones to charge.
Remove the battery and plug the charger in, if your phone works without the battery then you need a new battery
Take the battery out for 10 seconds and put it back in, now try charging it.
If non of these options work for you, then your phone is most likely defective and it would be best to look into another phone. The good news is that if you get another Go-Phone or any other AT&T phone, all you need to do is take your sim card out and put it into the new phone to activate it. This means the phone will work right away and you will be able to keep your remaining air time and phone number.
Why doesn't my phone turn on all the way?
Sometimes phones do this after 6 months to 2 years of use, especially the cheaper ones.
First: Remove the battery out the back of your phone for 10 seconds and then put it back in. Now try to turn it on.
Second option: This will remove all personal data from your phone: contacts, photos, apps... If first option doesn't work, then you may need to factory reset your phone. This can be done by holding the power button and volume down button while the phone is powered off. Keep pressing those buttons until you get to a screen you have not seen before. Now used the volume down control to go down the list of options and press volume up once you have "Factory Reset" selected.
If the second option doesn't work then your phone is defective and nothing short of hacking your phone will fix this. Usually it is best to invest in another phone.
