Sound in speakers is lousy

Tablets are notorious for bad sound. I use a volume adjuster app to boost sound and use earphones.

Have a Trio Stealth -10 wont connect to the WiFi

Is wifi turned on on the tablet? If not, go to Settings>Wifi and turn it on. The device should then automatically scan for networks. If you are able to connect to your network but then cannot actually get to the Internet you may just need to restart your router. You might get something like "Obtaining IP address" for a long time and then get "Limited" connection. Correcting this may be just a matter of unplugging it for about a minute then plug it back in. Wait 4-5 minutes for the router to boot up completely then try connecting again. Some routers are sensitive to new devices. When I had AT&T Uverse router I would have to restart it every time I tried to add a new wifi device. Hope this helps.

How to change glass screen o 10.1 trio stealth 2g tablet

The screen replacement is available at Amazon. As stated in the description, no instructions included. Nice set of tools included; most not needed. Installation is pretty intuitive; once you see the new screen, you realize that it attaches to the front bevel with adhesive tape, with one electrical connection. You must remove the broken screen basically by gently prying around the edges with tool of your choice. I did see a video of someone using a heat gun to soften the adhesive, but I dared not and used a small hairdryer on occasion. Lots of broken glass pieces will be created, wear safety glasses and work on a protected surface. If I were to do it again, I'd use a shallow cardboard box like the ones on the bottom of packs of soda. This will prevent glass escaping. Be VERY careful when working near the LCD screen, it does scratch easily. Don't worry about the cable, just cut it when removing old glass. Once all glass removed, the Trio will snap open with slight pressure on metal tabs. NO screws involved. Clean bezel well, remove old cable, install new one , reinstall the power and volume piece at the top and snap case together. Simply replace screen by removing adhesive tape and gently pressing screen it in around edges. I think the new screen works better than the original. Be sure both new screen and LCD are clean before the final install. That's how I did it; others might have a better way. Be patient and careful about all the broken glass and it should work fine. Good Buy for money, ships from China but does not take long to get to US. Tracking info is included with the shipping confirmation.

My trio stealth is new. When I power it on, goes to a screen "@9dual core" and doesn't go any further. Help!

There's a hard reset process on the G2 7" that I have used successfully on several stuck units. It may also work, I've learned, on other models of Trio tablets and other Android-based brands / models as well. It did on a Zeki 7" 8GB that I owned. But.... TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Here it is. (1) PRESS AND HOLD the power button until the tablet shuts off completely. (NOTE: if any type of start-up screen comes on, FORGET it: the Tablet must be COMPLETELY powered off for this to have any chance of working.) (2) PRESS AND HOLD the volume-down button, while simultaneously PRESSING AND HOLDING the power button This will (hopefully) bring up the Android figurine, along with some kind of rotating-wheel graphic. (3) Do nothing else but WAIT, until the screen changes to a text-based menu, with about 6 to 8, or more choices. (4) Use the volume-up and volume-down buttons to navigate between choices, and select (highlight) the choice offering to reset the tablet (to Factory Settings). (5) Click and release the power button to start the reset operation. Follow and additional prompts to ensure you are selecting the correct next step. This RESET process will erase ALL your installed apps, as well as delete all your saved photos, music and other user files and preferences (including wallpaper, time-zones, Wi-Fi settings etc. But when it works it will give you back a working Trio. Use your reset Triot carefully: generally, I'll say the Trio machines are good economical alternatives to the perhaps more robustly engineered (and much more expensive) big brand items. Regarding restoring personal preferences, and earlier installed apps I have no experience whatsoever. However there may be sufficient arguments to backup your personal data either on your home computer or on online "cloud based" services. Do the research, ok? Happy New Year, 2015 ... & ....Good Luck!

My volume is relly low even wen its at max pleasehelp

I can't figure out what you are asking. Can you rephrase your question? What operating system are you using, Win7? If so, try right-clicking on the "speaker" icon found in the system tray (lower right hand side of screen) and select 'Open Volume Mixer' option. Make sure all settings are not set to minimum. It could be another config setting. Explore other options under the "speaker" icon. Good Luck.

I'm in range FROMTHE router but sometimes will not load web sites

What is between you and the router? Are there any walls? What is in those walls, if any? If the wall contains metal, it could be effecting your access. Try moving into another direction with your tablet. It might be possible to pickup the signal from a different angle. Where is your router located? Is it near a window? Or, is it in the basement, in the center of the structure? Look for anything that can make the signal bounce around - metal foil? The bottom line is that there is something between you and the router that is blocking the signal and you need to find out what is causing the trouble. Once you determine that, then you can work around it or eliminate it. Good luck on your search.

Won't download apps... Says there isn't enough space but I have nothing loaded... What am I doing wrong??

Look at your setting page and under "Device" you should see how much space you have available. It might be that you have used up all the space available for music, or videos. If so, then try deleting some files and then load an app.

How do I get my trio to go back to the home screen?

It could be that your touchscreen (digitizer) is PARTLY broken. To confirm, try rotating your tablet 180 degrees, and then touch the home button again. If it works when rotated then you need a new touchscreen. I hope you are good with precision tools, and have good mechanical skills and instincts: it's a rather intricate job to locate the locking tabs and screws that attach the touchscreen to the insides of the tablet, then remove them, and finally to replace a touchscreen. And then reattach all necessary fasteners, and test whether it will work properly. EASIER FIX: go to Ebay and buy a used Trio tablet. it may cost you only $40 to $50 maybe even less!
