Deh-425 and deh-42 no speakers will work

hi ken, problem with your unit could be internal or external. i assume you not an audio technicain, start with checking all your speaker leads and speaker drivers directly, if any of these are found to be faulty try isolating it then retry to see if sound works again. secondly try resetting your unit. if all checks out well then you have an internal problem with your unit. check out your pioneer repair agent in this regard. remember if both units use the same harness(back plug) then chances are that you have an external problem with the speaker wiring or speakers itself. cheers.

You can put car audio foam pads or you can put any kind of padding around unit and where it hits any metal, plastic etc. with a padding that is rated for use around electrinics DONT just go and use any kind of padding because it can get very hot and burn. SO MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT PADDING> You can find at online stores or at car audio parts store

How to change time on Pioneer Carrozzeria avic hrv22 it has only Japanese, that's what my car's audio/GPS system and, please, help me out with changing language to English and finding maps? Thanks!!

Changing the language and updating maps on a Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC HRV22, which typically comes with Japanese language settings, can be a bit tricky, but it's possible. Here's a general guide:
  1. Locate the Settings: First, try to navigate through the menu to find the settings option. It might be represented by a gear icon or a wrench icon.
  2. Use a Translation App or Guide: If you can't understand the Japanese menu, use a translation app on your smartphone to translate the menu options. Alternatively, you can search online for a guide or manual in English for your specific model.
  3. Change the Language: Once you've located the settings menu, look for an option related to language settings (???? in Japanese). Select it and then choose English (or ?? in Japanese). Confirm your selection.
  4. Update Maps: Updating the maps might require accessing a specific section of the menu, typically labeled something like "Map Update" (????). Once you're in that section, follow the prompts to update the maps. This might involve connecting the device to a computer and downloading the updated maps from the manufacturer's website.
  5. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Throughout the process, pay attention to any on-screen instructions or prompts, even if they're in Japanese. Sometimes, the navigation buttons or layout might remain consistent regardless of the language.
  6. Reset if Necessary: If you accidentally get stuck or lost in the menus, there might be a reset button somewhere on the device. Pressing this button will restore the device to its factory settings, allowing you to start over.
If you find it challenging to navigate the menu or if the options are not readily understandable, you might want to seek assistance from someone who understands Japanese or consult a professional who specializes in car audio/GPS systems. They can guide you through the process more efficiently.
