Xerox workstation pro 428 error
I did contact the Xerox support center and they did suggest the following fix:
reboot the printre --> pres the following buttons --> powersave + red stop button + nr 6.
This should empty the print memory.
Dont forget to remove all the printer jobs on the client computers.
Paper jams just before fuser
Remove the fuser. Behind the fuser there is a sensor. Frequently that sensor does not move freely and causes jams. You will see it on a metal bracket, Try flipping it gently, I am assuming that it will not move freely. You can lubricate it on the end posts.
If you need to replace it, its is not that expensive .
Error code U6-3
Hello,
Assuming this error is persistent and a simple reboot will not clear it. This error means that there is an Memory Error. This might be caused by an improper grounding (earthing) of the machine.
To fix this error, in case the problem is not grounding, parts need to be replaced. So I would advise you to book a visit.
Xerox workcentre 3345 paper jam in tray1
If you've modified one of the trays and still encounter the same error, it's worth checking if there are any obstructions in the paper path or if the default paper type and color settings need adjustment.
Remove Jammed Paper From Tray 1:
First, remove any paper from the Bypass Tray.
Grasp both sides of the Bypass Tray and pull it straight out of the printer.
Next, pull out Tray 1 until it stops. To remove the tray, lift the front of it slightly, then pull it out of the printer.
Check for any jammed paper and remove it.
Also, make sure there's no crumpled paper left in the tray or jammed inside the printer.
If you have Tray 2 (optional), check it as well.
Insert Tray 1 back into the printer and push it all the way in.
Fully insert the Bypass Tray as well.
Confirm the paper settings if prompted.
Try your job again.
Power the Printer Off then On:
Press the Power/Wake button on the printer control panel.
Choose "Power Off" to turn off the printer.
Wait for a few seconds, then press the Power/Wake button again to turn it back on.
Retry your print job.
Replace the Paper Feed Roller (if needed):
If the issue persists, consider replacing the paper feed roller. Refer to your printer's documentation for instructions on how to do this.
If the problem continues, contact Xerox support.
