Sounds like a power board issue. Unfortunately this is a common problem in flat screen TVs. Typicality this happens after the tv is three years old or older. Some will last several years. The repair is almost cost prohibitive. The replacement board if you sent it out to a repair shop would cost approximately $190.00 and altleast two hours labor $180.00 for the repair. When liquid drips onto the x buffer boards (located along the bottom edge of the display panel ) the liquid Will damage the ribbon cables that are connected to the display panel. Try opening your menu options and search for "updates" Usually when you set your TV for the first time it usually guides you to do this firmware update. Try acting like your are setting up your TV for the first time and maybe it will have a option for this.
