You would need to convert MOV file into a format which PS3 understands.
This can easily be done with a simple conversion tool such as the 3herosoft PS3 Video Converter.
1) Download and install 3herosoft PS3 Video Converter. Once installation has completed, launch the program. Step
2 ) Click "File" and then "Add" from the top menu of the 3herosoft PS3 Video Converter program. Browse to the folder and location of your MOV file. Select the file that you want to convert to PS3 format and click "Open." Once selecting the file, it will be added to the conversion list. Step
3) Edit the file as desired. Modify fields under "General" in the upper left-hand corner of the program window. Changes can be made to video size, duration, frame rate, buffer size and more. Step
4) Click "Convert" button (red circle) to convert the MOV file into PS3 format. Locate the converted file and transfer it to your PS3 for playback.

it should not be the controller it could just be the game the best thing to do is bring it back to gamestop or wherever you brought it from and exchange it for another one...

Freezing playing offline two players or even one player.

First I thought the problem was related to the fifa09 DVD, and therefore I got a new one. That didn’t help. Then I got at new PSP3, and it didn’t make a difference. However, I found the solution:

Unfortunately I did two things at the same, so it’s not possible to say, what made the difference.

1. Dot not choose your local language (in my case Danish), but chose English (the next time you start fifa09 it can run with your local language)

2. Delete your saved data concerning fifa09

First make sure no other games are freezing. If other games freeze also, then the problem is not with Fifa 10. If your other games are fine, you will need to replace Fifa by either an exchange or, if stores won't do that for you, you'll have to sell and purchase a new game.

either your connection is weak or you cant maintain a good connection to the servers. You can check your connection stregnth by going into settings, then network settings, and network connection test. after following the instructions, it will tell you the stregnth of your connection. if it is low (below 70 percent), you need to move your ps3 closer to the access point. The second problem cant be solved, it's the game company's fault.

Basically, what you need to do is delete the user from the ps3, create a new user, and assign it to your psn id, and then sync trophies. I'm sure there is an old thread about this somewhere, because I had this error last year, so I won't try a step by step walkthrough, unless you can't find the other thread. Let us know how you get. try looking for updates and patches for the game, else, reinstall all your fifa 09 files.

if this doesn't work, verify it there are any problems with your disk (dust, for example),

is the problem continues, restore your ps3 system . (or first re-update the system by downloading the latest update in Playstation Site)

turn on ps3 leave on stand by (red light), hold eject button and power button until you hear beeps and a message appears. connect controller and press ps button. system restore screen should appear, select restart system and from there it should restore everything back to normal. go on the internet browser on the PS3 then go on the menu press triangle then on one of them there are delete cookies and the delete the others as well as cookies

check the disc if it has fingerprints or scratches if it does then thats your problem

if you have the 60GB sos mate they have alot of problems

or maybe try this put the PS3 on then press the eject button (with no disc in) then hold it then switch the PS3 off at the back with your finger on the eject button still holding it then put it back on then the fan test should be working this may cool it down

it may be overheating
if this problem still continues go out and buy a inter cooler from a shop
