Their website claims that the ProHeat elements fit toasters made in the last 50 years... I would say take the thing to a good electrician, and she can inspect one of the ones that still works, compare it to the one that burnt out, and come up with some sort of fix...

Spring on dpp2 toaster

The spring went on our dpp2 dualit toaster, when this happens the toaster stays On permanently. I would recomend buying a safer toaster rather than trying to fix this dangerously designed toaster.
