Radio shuts off intermittently all

If the wiring checks good you may have bad solder connections it the radio or the contacts on the face and subpanel (the part the face connects to on the front of the deck). Try cleaning the contacts on the face and subpanel with either qtips and rubbing alcohol or a pencil eraser. An old toothbrush dipped in rubbing alcohol might work too.

CD will not play.

Do you have the radio hooked up to an amplifier? If so, it sounds like you are using the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) to turn the amp on. The antenna remote wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

All the lights work and the equalizer is moving

Pull head unit out and make sure the clip isn't broke and that the harness is plugged in all the way.... take it loose and reinsert it.
