Ai-NET cable is cut, wire splice male aux cord
On the ai net cable identify and separate strand with green, blue and unshielded common/ground. G and B will be your positive which you will then solder to red and white leads from rca or headphone cable with unshielded from that cable twisted together and soldered together with the unshielded wire from ai net cable. Tape off or heat shrink the rest of wires from ai net cable.

this makes good sense ill try it mine done the same thing and when out in had hook strait to battery i was trying to find the short thinking face plate or wire harness i found i can lightly squeeze the unit and it go off what would be the best shim
Radio shuts off intermittently all
If the wiring checks good you may have bad solder connections it the radio or the contacts on the face and subpanel (the part the face connects to on the front of the deck). Try cleaning the contacts on the face and subpanel with either qtips and rubbing alcohol or a pencil eraser. An old toothbrush dipped in rubbing alcohol might work too.

CD will not play.
Do you have the radio hooked up to an amplifier? If so, it sounds like you are using the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) to turn the amp on. The antenna remote wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.
Display is gone, how do
what are you driving.... some radios are iso-mount and dash pieces may need to taken off... if its using the can, check the box it came with. there are 4" thin metal keys that slide down each side of the head unit to unlock the tabs.
