Hi there,
If this model has a detachable faceplate,
Remove the faceplate and clean down the contacts with metho and a cotton bud.
Over time usually corrosion and dirt etc builds up on these terminals making them loose cotact when you touch the faceplate.
This is the most commonly known problem alpine units.
Other common problems is the power supply failing /amplifier.
Hope this helps you out

Engine noise coming through speakers

Make sure you are using resistor plugs, have a proper ground in the system, have good plug wires and are connected to the correct power line.

Engine nosie

Hi there
Two common things you can try is to a, Run the speaker wires away from any power wires in your car,
Secondly head to an auto store or auto electrician and buy a couple of ignition noise suppressors. Whiel youre there ask them to qucikly show you how to fit them up as they are all diffferent and this should solve the problem.
However if you do this and theres still noise try changing your spark plugs to resistor type plugs If they arent allready and make sure that you have you stereo wired up correclty with sufficent eath wires and positive in wires.
Also it helps to check that the eathing wire from the battery to the car chasis is clean from corrosion and is sufficent size for the output of your stereo.

Hope this helps you out.
Cheers

I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't

  1. Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
  2. Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
  3. System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
  4. Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  • Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
  • If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
  • Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.
