20 Most Recent Wacom ZC100 Mouse Questions & Answers

1.) Carefully remove both the felt backing on the bottom of the mouse and the thin clear plastic that it is stuck to as one piece. It is glued down with a thin adhesive and you will have to pry it loose with an x-acto knife or similar tool. 2.) Remove the 4 #0 Philips screws hidden under the felt. They may make a snapping sound when you pop them loose. don't worry, you didn't break anything. 3.) Turn the mouse upside-right and separate the two halves. The mechanical and electronic parts and scroll wheel are connected to the bottom half of the mouse, the left and right buttons. are connected to the top. there are some very delicate electronics in there, so be very careful. This mouse is not meant to be taken apart, and doing so will void the warranty, but if you need to take it apart it is probably broken anyway. I was able to fix mine by simply cleaning the dirt out of it and am using it to write this post.

The KC-100-00 is magnetic and does not use batteries.
