How do i unlock my apex tv

Hi

If you have a blank screen with a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time for around 10 seconds. This will unlock the screen and allow you to view the channel as desired.

If your TV asks for a 4-digit code or password please enter 3308 or 6688 to unlock the screen or to reset any preset rating levels.

If you have a GT2011J or GT2011S Television, hold the Display button for 10 seconds, it will unlock the screen. If password or code is requested then try 3308 or 6688.

Hope this helps - if so please do rate this answer and thanks for using Fixya.

Cannot get tv to work with digital cable

Okay, here is the deal "Most" providers have there digital signal locked so you have to "rent" there boxes. Okay here is what you need to do, Call your cable company and tell them you have a digital Tv and do not want the box rental. Now most of them will come out and take the lock off the "tap" so you can recieve the signal without having a box. Now a very few will tell you that you need a box now you can fight them with the public utility and see if the budge but if they do not well you might want to try getting a pass threw from radioshack or something.

I am sorry you having issues the firs tthing to do is call the cable company.

Thanks and please leave postive ratings for you 100 percent free answer today. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

THE COLOR FADES AFTER A FEW MINUTES AND WHEN YOU

If you are hitting your tv, you have a bad solder connection somewhere either on the neck module or on the main circuit board. If you want to repair this yourself look for solder connections that have black rings, this is an indication that the solder has broken off and the joint needs reordered. It would cost in the neighborhood of 150.00 to fix if you sent it to a shop.

My tv is locked

It sounds like the manufacturers are asking you to get it looked at by an engineer! Try their website, maybe they will have a firmware download or a key combination that can be pressed to force the system to re-boot when powering up, something like the sky+box has. Try and press the channel up & down buttons while pressing the on button, or maybe it'll be another combination, it's worth experimenting before you get an engineer out. Hope this helps

We had a thunderstorm and it close by and turned

You probably got some lightning through the antenna connection to the tuner input. You can try feeding it with a DVD player through the RCA jacks, setting the TV input to match the jack location on the TV. If that works, you can use an external tuner to watch TV, or you could pay to have the tuner section repaired. The repair might be a little pricey though.

Help! Turned on our tv and all there is a blue

Somebody put a lock on it. LOL There is several keys you can press together in all TV to go into service mode, I don't remember the one for that particular model. See if you can find it on the internet. Look at one of those television case history site. Some are free. Be carefull you don't adjust anything once in the service mode!! That is actually used by technicians only. A consumer would not have a clue what they are adjusting.

How can I unlock the TV?

Ok try this.

If you have the display button on your remote then hold that down for 10 seconds it will unlock the screen. If password it requested try 3308 or 6688 and then go into the menu and change the parental controls on the tv as that is what has turned on. Let me know if that helps. If you do not have the display button try holding the mute and the menu button at the same time. Hope that helps.

Cannot make horizontal and vertical size and position adjustments

OK...I paid a whole $50 for an Apex AT2702 that had [undisclosed] vertical zoom, horizontal shift, vertical shift and width issues. Before I raised hell for the person who sold it to me, I decided to first exhaust all alternative solutions.

I found that in order to tweak these settings, you have to be in service mode and must have a service manual which I can email upon request.

BE SURE TO DOCUMENT YOUR CURRENT SETTINGS SINCE ANYTHING YOU CHANGE WILL AFFECT YOUR SET'S PERFORMANCE !!!

1-Reduce your tv volume to 0
2-press the MUTE button on your original tv remote [you'll see "Mute" in red on the screen]
3-AT THE SAME TIME, press MUTE on the same remote and MENU on the tv controls.
This set your tv into service mode [there will be a red "S" at the top-center of your screen.

You'll need the table in the service manual page 47 where there are V-SHIFT, H-SHIFT, V-ZOOM, E/W WIDE default values that will need to be changed. WATCH YOUR SCREEN as you change the values to ensure you don't over do it.

If you have news ticker and sports scores issues, you'll want to be tuned to CNN, FOX, ESPN or whatever to see how your changes are applied.
If you have tv guide problems then tune to that channel or press info and see what happens when you make the changes.

BE SURE TO DOCUMENT YOUR CURRENT SETTINGS SINCE ANYTHING YOU CHANGE WILL AFFECT YOUR SET'S PERFORMANCE.

This has worked for my set and you may attempt this solution on yours at your own risk.
I'm no longer pissed off that I got a bogus tv because it now works just fine and I can see everything!

Good Luck!

I HAVE A SONY KLV-40U100M IS THERE AN ADJUSTMENT

You've got more happening than an adjustment. There is an IC that handles the sync and my guess is that is bad. You'll probably need a pro if you're not familiar with TV circuits.
