For got code how do I program to another tv

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. A red key on tv screen

The TV is locked. Apex TVs have parental locks that allow you to block certain programs based on their rating. When this feature is no longer needed and you want your TV to display all programming no matter its rating, you must unlock your TV. Unlocking your Apex TV is done completely from your remote control and does not require any tools. The process takes less than 5 minutes. · Press the "Menu" button on the remote control and use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the "Parental Guide" option, then press the "Enter" button. Type in the default parental code "6688" if you have not set your own code. If you have set your own code, type it in. If you set your own code and forgot it, override it by using "6688." Use the arrow keys to switch the parental lock to "OFF." This allows all programs to be viewed no matter the rating. Press the "Exit" button on the remote and start watching all your channels. The tv locked out and i dont have the remote for

Hello
It will be very difficult to unlock your Apex TV without its remote control handset. If you can gather it from some amoung your friends or relatives, who own the same model set, just borrow it form them just to unlock your TV. After unlock, you can use any universal remote control suited for Apex. Proceedings are:
Apex TVs use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for many models is 6688. Other sets may not have one, or may have a default code of 1225 instead of an override code.

1. To use the override code:

2. Hit the MENU key to get to the menus.

3. Go down to the SYSTEM menu and hit the right arrow on the remote control.

4. Once in the SYSTEM menu, go to PARENTAL GUIDE. It will ask for your code.

5. Enter the override code listed above. From here, you can turn on and off different rating restrictions, as well as set a new code. No matter what the V-chip code is set to, the override code will still work. If you have a blank screen with a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time. This will unlock the screen and allow you to view the channel as desired OK.

I need the unjversal remote

Hello
Four digit universal remote codes for Apex TV are:
0214 0216 0215 0401

Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.
Thanks for using Fixya.

Turned off television after watching it this a.m.

Hi - Check to see that the power cord is still connected or that the power source has not been shut off.

If it is plugged in, if the power strip is still on and working correctly, and if the breaker the tv is on is not tripped, then I would recommend unplugging the TV for 5 minutes and plugging it back in. Sometimes the tube in the TV can become "overloaded" and needs a brief 'cooling period'. Let us know if this does not work. Thanks!
