Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. https://homenol.blogspot.com/ https://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ https://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Programming Notes • If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote. • Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality. This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts. /

CRAIG CLC 503 HOW DO I FIX NO SIGNAL?

Check whether it displays picture by connecting the external antenna, after selecting its input to TV. If yes, the DVD section circuit has the fault. If no, the main board is faulty. Whatever the case be, it will be best to contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Hello, I have a Coby

Hello
you haven't mentioned about whether it plays CDs. if it plays CDs without any problem, and only DVD play does not. the fault is with its Laser Pickup Unit. ther is no repair to this unit, as it can only be replaced with same type and number. Insist on same type and number. Never make a comprmise. OK.

I have a 22" LCD

Hello
Either your DVD players' laser pickup unit or its strip wire has got damaged. Laser pickup unit is one which reads the disc we put into it, and strip wire is one which connected between the main circuit board and laser pickup unit assembly. The strip wire damage is common for all cd players, and dvd players. Just replace the strip wire with a new one of same type; and see the effect. If it helps you it is OK. If not, replace the laser pickup unit assembly with same type and number.
If you wants anymore assistance, feel free to contact me by Fixya. OK.

I cant get any channels with my coby tv

This COBY only has an analog tuner. Thus unless you are close to one of the remaining low-power stations, you need a digital-to-analog converter for OTA TV signals. For digital TV, you should use antennaweb.org or tvfool.com to identify the antenna and direction for the digital signals that you may be able to receive. Antennaweb assumes an outdoor antenna is conservative in the channel list it provides. Digital signal is either enough to register with the tuner or No Signal. An amplifier may be needed is the signal is split to several TVs.

If you have cable, check the type of signal coming in to the TV. If the signal has been switched to digital, you need a set top box.

I hope this helps.

I have a Coby dvdtv 1390 that has problems playing

how long has it been since you cleaned the DVD tray? you need to clean after about 10hrs. of play time on a DVD player, just buy a simple cleaning disc at the store, a Walmart, K-mart, Target,....etc....and run it through your player, just follow instructions on package.......I had this problem with my kids ps2, works fine now, the discs you rent are very dirty, and in turn leave your player dirty...hope this helps.....
