Red light on control pod
Hi.
This happened because either control pod cannot connect , or the protection circuit kicked in after a fault on main unit had been detected.
If the unit is working, then it is the control pod only.
Disconnect power cord to drain power and reset the unit.
Check control pod connection.
If the light is still red, contact Bose at the number listed on system documentation.

Hi there bud...you will need to go to a PC store , ask for a Audio to RCA cable for your PC speakers , once you have it , connect your speakers to the Connecter you bought , Then connect the Piece you to the T.V as if you were connecting a DVD machine, it will then work perfect,
Happy new Year , Hope you come right ;)
The right speaker on my Bose Companion 3 works for
Can you hear anything from it right now, such as scratching noise or something, if you can hear something, then check the audio input cables, or the output to the right speaker, try turning it or something.
If that method didn't works, then possibly there's two conditions:
1. Your right speakers burned, try replacing it with the new ones.
2. Your power board half damaged, the right channel is damaged or something.Maybe the IC's burned or maybe just some minor electronics parts that is not working properly.
Volume
try a different input line, mine did the same thing. everything was good with a new line!!
I have a bose companion 3 computer speaker system
Did it ever work? Ummm could be the power adaptor has gone bad? Use a multimeter and check for the specified (on the power adaptor) voltage on the terminals of the plug that goes into the main unit. If that voltage seems to be ok - and I hope not - but maybe your main unit has gone bad. Needs repair or replace.
Make sure, of course, that you have AC power at the house mains outlet that you are using.
