thanks for the phone call, what we learned is that you sending a modified signal to this Woofer that is already self amplified witch would cause it to sound like this.
I would dasy chain off the same signal and not use and modified or pre amplifeid to this already amplified unit.
What you will need to do is adjust the amplified and the mix, to where you got desired bass, You do not want to send this to much sginal from the mixer where it starts to crackle.
So during the call we pretty much got it working and then when I started stuggesting other solutions the call was disconneted, We do hope you are satisfied.
