some calculators show an error message if you enter the [+/-] (the negative of a number before the number itself).
In that case enter 0.693 then press [+/-]. the calculator should put a small - sign before the 0.

Let us assume you have two simultaneous linear equations :

a_1*x+ b_1*y+c_1=0
a_2*x +b_2*y+c_2=0

where a_1, a_2, b_1, b_2, c_1,c_2 are coefficients (numerical or algebraic).
The problem is to obtain the particular values of the unknowns x and y for which the two equations are both satisfied: If you substitute the particular values of x and y you find in any of the two equations you discover that both equalities are true.

The solution of large systems of linear equations can be sought by making use of the concepts of matrices (plural of matrix), determinants, and certain rules called Cramer's rules.

Due to its repetitive nature, the algorithm ( a well defined, limited sequence of steps) is suitable for a calculating machine (computer or calculator).

Certain calculators have, embedded in their ROM, a program that solves linear systems of simultaneous equations. Usually you are asked to enter the values of the coefficients a_1, etc. in a set order, then you press ENTER or EXE (Casio) . If a solution exits (not all linear systems have solutions) the calculator displays it.

Look above number 4 there should be 'n!' in yellow color that is the factorial so just type 20 then shift 4, shift is the yellow button in the top left. Hope you find it.

for the mean, just add them together and divide answer by the amount of figures you put in. as for the others, i'm not sure a standard scientific calculator will do that

when you posh 3 numbers then 2nd F then it has the p it is not going to come off

try reseting your calculator, press the small reset button on the back.

change the mode to normal i.e. press the 2ndF key,MODE, 0

remove the battery from it
then reinsert the battery again then try reset button it wit be perfect

I had the same problem... all you have to do is reset the calculator:

Type:
2ndF
ALPHA
It'll give you a choice Mem (0) or Reset (1)... press 1
Then it'll say Reset? (0)... press 0

And your calculator should be as good as new!

I don't have a Cot button but Cot x = 1/Tan x so enter

1/Tan 78 = 0.212556 etc if you have a fraction button you can write it that way too:

1 frac button Tan 78 = 0.212556 etc

Question edited for clarity. Remove the curl out of the paper by running 6" across the edge of a desk against the curl. With scissors, cut the end 1/2" straight. Then cut a 1/2" off both corners at 45 degrees.
