Depends on the end result you want. If you're using a high impedence mic or a low with a transformer,jst plug it into the input jack, drop the gain down and contriol your violume with the master. A better way would be to plug a small mixer into the effects loop/line in jack.

It should be a 5 amp fuse, and usually states that around the fuse holder on the rear.

Unfortunatly this could be any of a number of problems. i suggest taking it to the repair shop.

There is an external speaker jack on the back. Plug in a cab of your choice down to 2 ohm load. enjoy.

You might try checking the capacitors and inductors wired inside. A blown cap is usually obvious, the inductor might be less so. But it shouldn't be too hard or costly to replace either. I don't have experience with this brand of speakers (or large high end speakers in general) but unless there is mechanical damage to some speaker component like the coil or cone, the electronics might be the next thing to check.

To get a replacement, Call Peavey and ask for the parts department. They normally sell things cheaper than you'd expect, and it will be the correct part.
