I
had a similar problem. Found the instruction manual on the Mattel
website. Horribly enough, if you go to the Mattel site and just search
for Rhino Rampage, you won't have any results, but here is how you can
get there manually: http://www.mattel.com -> Shop link at the top
-> Help link at the top. On the help page under the Contact Customer
Service heading, click the Self Service link. From there, click
Instruction Sheets...and you are on your way.

I recently purchased a 1968,
If the batteries are good, chances are you may have a loose wire or soldering connection inside. You will have to figure out which screws to remove to ain access inside to look for a broken wire, loose soldering joint, or any burn marks on the circuit board or swollen leaky parts which would indicate a faulty component on the electrical board.

I have a discontinued Mattel
I hate to be the bearer of bad news maam but there is no manual to be had anywhere because it is discontinued and quite aged.I looked online for a downloadable manual which many are out there, however not this one.I called Mattel.I called Barbie.I called a Barbie collectors item site and they gave me the phone number which you already posted.Jokingly i told the last woman that i guess I will have to track down the 75 year-old man who wrote it(no offense). My wife is a 44 year old grandmother so you may not be that old.I do not know what else to suggest but to self teach it possibly as your quest for a manual will be tedious and very evasive.Good luck! Greg Sorry :(

How to reset Mattel little mommy real loving baby
Turn doll on. Then using a bent paper clip or something similar insert it into the "Reset" hole next to the pwer switchand hold ther for about 5 seconds. Upon removal, you will hear a narrator say "Hi little mommy. What's your baby's new name? When you hear this sound (bell) say your baby's name..." follow the directions spoken. If the doll did not recognize the name the sequence will begin again.
