You should be able to get an activity report through the menu key. Push the menu key and scroll to reports Push ok/set key and scroll to actitvity report. Push set/ok key, one or the other, and an activity report should print out.

We had the same memory full problem. Just unplug the main switch and it will automatically reset the printer and you will be able to send and receive faxes after.

Open the rear cover so you can see the fuser unit. Somewhere in there you will find a paper scrap that has jammed a sensor arm. Use a torch to see it better. You may need to remove the fuser to see better.

I had the same problem and called canon helpline.

They said to unplug the machine from the mains, then take out the plastic guard where the paper tray is fitted. There is a lever just above the paper tray. Make sure that it is pressed up completely. Then reconnect to mains.

I tried it and it worked.

The best you could do would be to Fax images.documents from your PC to this machine, that would effectively work, you would need a modem in the PC though, otherwise it will work fine... BUT not as a printer, as such. But you would still have the ability to store and manipulate the documents IN the Fax when received, and may just work, well, but with limitations?
You would simply have to dial the fax from the PC and send it to it, then it would receive,,store and print out as you wished... should/could work just as well as a wifi printer?

E100 means that you have laser trouble, probably laser pcb is bad. Replace it.
But also check the laser shutter.

Under user mode ( MENU) - machine sett. - buzzer - off

Under user mode (MENU), there must be something like user sett.

Its fixing error, replace the fixing unit.
