Cannot change date & time

On the control panel, lift up the tab that says something like "69-72". Under that, you'll a blue "data Registration" label on the third (I think) button down at the left edge of the control panel.
Press that button and you will enter the data registration mode for the machine. Now, note the labels on the rest of the keys/buttons. Use the set and right arrow keys to advance to the time/date settings. Use the number buttons to enter the date and time. Use the arrow keys if you have to. When you're finished, press the "Data Registration" button again, twice I thikn to skip over the other options for "Data Registration" or set them, too.

My Canon Laser Class 7000 has a problem on the

Easy one. This unit has several parts in the automatic document feeder (aka ADF) that simply wear out. As far as I know the parts are still availble from a reputable canon repair center. The lower feed assy is the most likely contributer to your issues. This is sold as an entire assy. Not exactly for the faint of screwdriver. Should be done by a skilled tech.
Good luck

Deleting memory files.

No one seems to have a manual for this except for those who want to seel service plans. I solved the memory full issue by finding the right sequence of buttons. You press the delete file button, lift the cover of the preprogrammed buttons , locate the set button and then the asterisk. This clears the memory so there's not a hit and miss on faxing out documents.

The faxs that I am recieving are coming true with lines

It sound like it was a bad phone line and the fax is missing some of the information. It will look like half of the text was squashed. If it is always consistent check your fax line for crackling and make sure no other devices are active on the line.
