I need to send 1

You can send a fax to up to 142 fax numbers, using any combination of dialing methods:
- One-touch Speed Dialing (up to 32 destinations)
Press the desired One-Touch Speed dial button(s)
- Coded Speed Dialing (up to 100 destinations)
Press [Coded Dial] > enter the 2 digit code (00-99) using the numeric buttons and be sure to press [Coded Dial] before each code
- Regular dialing and redialing (10 destinations)
Enter the number using the numeric buttons or [Redial/Pause] and be sure to press [Set] after each entry with the numeric keys

After all the numbers are listed, press [Start]. The machine will scan in the document (memory) and then begin sending it to the destinations in numerical order, starting with One-Touch, then Coded and finally the numbers dials with the numeric keys.

You can also create a group if you frequently send faxes to the same group of people by first saving them as One-Touch and then adding them to a new group.

How do I open the

You just pull down the front cover that is just below where the copies come out of the machine. You will see the toner cartridge. It has a small "handle" on it. It just pulls out the front of the machine. Then just unpack the new one making sure to remove the seal tape if it is installed on your new toner. Then re-install the new cartridge and close the door. If you have your users manual for the machine, the instructions are in the manual. If you are using a OEM Canon toner cartridge I believe the instructions are included in the box.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

CANON L170 - WHEN

Hello,

There are a few possible reasons that can cause this problem. First, the fuser assembly may be damaged or at the end of its life. The solution is to replace the fuser assembly. Repairing a fuser assembly is generally not recommended because the fuser is considered a consumable printer part and not worth the time or effort to fix. Second, the toner cartridge may be defective and letting too much toner out at one time, the solution is to replace the toner cartridge.

Take care.

"Install Cartridge" Message

remove the cartridge and see if has some band or some sticker on which should get off (see on the box of the cartridge it must write if something like that should be removed) , or just remove the cartridge and putt it carefully and it might be not set good.
