System Error E100

is in the font cover (canon logo cover), open the toner bottle door and revome the screw located in the center, then in the front left side there in another screw in the upper corner, remove that too. slide to the left the front cover and you will see the waste toner bottle

its a laser shutter or laser unit

if there is no message on display...and if machine running for a long...pls check the toner, some times its not showing on the display

Need a bit more info. did the copier display a error code that starts with "E______" that info. will tell where the problem is.

It usually means there is something blocking the interior. Try turning the printer off, unplug it for 5 minutes, plug it back in, wait 5 minutes then restart.

there could be a problem with the main fan and or the dc controller could be bad.

A E0000 means that there is a problem with the fixing unit. It may have been caused by a power loose or the heating unit in the fixing unit has shorted out. I believe you can reset it by opening the door or turn it off and back ON.

If this copier not use long time then its LCD panel not good contrast.You should service this copier

Is the drum unit installed in host machine?Is the connection of the connector (J908) on the BD detection PCB, connector (J907) of the laser unit, and connector (J102) on the DC controller PCB normal?Try replacing the laser/scanner unit.

this is related to the teflon(fixing film) in the fuser unit. u have to replace it to get machine working . so better call a tech and get it replaced .u have to do so to make it working ,no other option.i can't explain u how to do so as it is trick and u might damage other parts and sensor's
