How to calculate calculus problem by a scientific
Hello,
If by calculus problem you mean derivatives of functions, integrals, extrema and such things, I am sorry to inform you that neither the Casio FX-300MS, nor the FX-991MS can handle them. The newer Casio calculator FX-991ES is capable of performing numerical differentiations and integrations. There also graphing calculators by Casio FX-9750G, FX-9860G as well as by Texas Instruments (TI 83 PLUS/TI84PLUS) that are reasonably performant in that area.
Hope it helps.
Binary conversion
Hello,
In the FX-300Ms manual, the same for the FX-82MS, there is no way to use base-n (binary, octal, hexadecimal) calculations.
Sorry.
How to calculate 7744mod187
Take 7744 / 187 and round this number down. This would be 41, this tells us that 187 "fits" 41 times into 7744. We then take 187 * 41 which is 7667, then subtract it from the origional number so 7744 - 7667 = 77. Thus, 7744 mod 187 is 77.
Reset?!
Thank You so very much, this solution fixed my problem.
PLEASE HOW DO I CHANGE MY CASIO FX-82MS
Hello,
Use the FIX display format and set the number of decimal digits to be displayed to be 2 o 3 or more depending on your needs. Instructions are on screen capture below. Hope it helps.
Don't know how to change it from degrees to radian mode
if you press the |mode| button (at the top right of the calculator) until you see Deg Rad Gra on the screen (I believe 3 presses of the mode button) and just hit the number below the rad option on the display. This will permanently change it to radian mode until you repeat this step, or clear the memory.
There is also a way to change to radian mode for just one operation if you will be mostly using degrees for example
at the bottom there is a DRG> as a shifted function. I would just recommend changing it in the way I initially outlined as there is less room for error when making calculations.
How do I calculate the
It seemed there is no Modulo function in fx-100MS. But Mod is just the remainder of a division operator.
So if you have A mod B = C, divide A by B, subract the remaining whole number, and multiply it by B to get C.
Example:
7 mod 4 = 3
In the Calculator:
7 / 4 = 1.75, then 1.75 - 1 = 0.75. Then 0.75 x 4 = 3
