JVC XL-F254BK 5-Disc CD Changer Questions & Answers
Why won't the CD drawer and Cassette door open on my Panasonic SA-PM17 CD Stereo System?
This does happen with CD trays, it's quite common. I can't remember the exact mot common cause, but it's some worn out part, such as a small (plastic) cog wheel. Search on "cd tray won't open" on the internet to find a multitude of reasons, most to do with computer CD trays, but I guess the mechanism is essentially the same. These may also describe ways round the problem.
Some CD players have a small hole on the front near the tray into which poking a straightened out paperclip should enable you to open the tray by a few mm, enough to be able to pull it open in an emergency - but it's awkward to do on a frequent basis.

Jvc xl-f254 cd changer for home. 5 disc
Take the cover off and inspect for a jammed disc.
If there are no jammed discs you either have a broken belt or stripped gear.
You will have to take the unit apart and inspect, belts are commercially available from electronic stores and are a cheap easy fix!
Let me know if you need more details or guidance.
Cheers!

CD player will cycle through all 5 discs and then show "No Disc"
HI. the main board is ok. this is the actions of a malfunctioning optical lens assembly. the lens is unable to read, due to the damage to its structure or, the laser has burned out.
The main board is programed to issue the (no disk) alert if the lens doesn't relay audio data. simply replacing the failed optical lens assembly will fix this issue.
Disc drawer will not open
Try to hear a sound of of a running motor inside the unit. If you can hear it, the there's a broken or misplaced rubber belt. The belt drives the drawer open.
I have a JVC RX-501 reciver and 2 speakers Sony(200W). I start the reciver and After 3-4 seconds it S make a sound like" bun bun " that S all... After 1-2 minute again..
The sound you're hearing could be due to a variety of reasons, such as a loose connection, a malfunctioning component, or a power issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the speaker connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are properly connected to the receiver and the speakers. Make sure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly aligned. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the wires to ensure a secure connection.
Check the power source: Ensure that the receiver is plugged into a working power outlet and that the power cord is securely connected to the receiver. You can also try plugging the receiver into a different power outlet to see if that resolves the issue.
Check the volume level: Ensure that the volume level on the receiver is not set too high. High volume levels can cause distortion and other issues.
Reset the receiver: Try resetting the receiver to its default settings. To do this, turn off the receiver and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the receiver back in and turn it on.
If these suggestion don't help, you may have to seek professional repair.

A bit of basic knowledge is required first;
Insert CD, the first thing the processor expects is to scheive Focus.
When Focus is acheived, the Spindle Motor will turn.
Either the Laser cannot Focus or there is an issues with the Spindle Motor.
Which is it ... if you know, then you will know which part or board has the issue.
