LG 26LX1D won't turn on.
My LG 26LX1D is the UA Version.
The solution for my problem was unclogging the Small Fan by the Main Panel, on the opposite side of the TV as the Power Board.
This is My Story.
The TV I found at the dump seemed good, but would not turn on.
Two LED's showed up on the front panel of the Television. First, the Red LED (on, off), then the Green LED (ON), then the Red LED (blinked) while the Green was still on.
I removed the back panel and saw that there were NO SIGNS OF BAD CAPACITORS on the Power Board. I plugged in the TV once more to see what would happen.
I noticed that there was a SMALL FAN which did not move when I plugged the power source to the outlet. This Fan was CLOGGED WITH DIRT.
I unscrewed the Fan from it's place and set it on a dish to act as a buffer against the main board. I then proceeded to clean it with a Vacuum Cleaner and a small Flathead Screwdriver.
I now own a FUNCTIONING LG 26LX1D-UA, RESSURRECTED!
How do ifix invalid format display
You need to make sure what are the extensions supported by your HDTV if the video file extension is not supported by the TV you will get this error
It wont rurn on
replace capacitors c520 and c126 to get your power working again.
Also make sure that you don't have a broken green 3 inch jumper wire broke that lies under the heat shield in the top right corner. The wire should be glued to the board for stability. It sometimes breaks loose and will cause the TV screen to stay off.

LG LCD TV Standby Light Flashing Red Continuously
I have had this same problem twice in the past 3 months. So far both times I've been able to get it back after a week or two. I'm not sure what works, but unplugging and detaching the antenna and cable and waiting a few days seems to be the key. In both instances, I unplugged it for a few days then plugged it in for a few days and repeated the processes until I eventually got the steady red led. Both times prior to the red led the led would flash red then green and make a clickiing noise for several hours before I was able to get it working again.

Your power board has gone bad and is not supplying enough power to start up the inverters. The LED lighting at all shows that you do have standby power, but that is all. You will need to have the power board replaced. Hope this helps.

How many times does the power light blink in between each pause? Also let me know if you notice any flash on the screen or whether the light changes to red a few seconds after you turn it on. If yes then do you notice a clicking noise coming from the tv before the light turns red?

SAMSUNG SP-4232 SCREEN KEEP PULSING ON AND OFF
Good day!!!!That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..1. Open the back cover of your TV.2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter
