LG DVDR 313 DVD Recorder Questions & Answers
I took my LG DVD recorder in for repair and now
Faulty or loose connection for it. Try a different cable. If you still can't get it to work try and get the repair people out to see it, saying it still isn't working. You paid to have it fixed so it should now be working.
I need a Hard Disk for DVD LG Ref. RH399H
I believe you are looking for a 320 GB replacement drive, I would remove the one in there first to check which brand it is, and then just replace it.
LG haven't release any information saying that the hard disk has any specific brand (or as far as i have read about them) And the software to run the drive should be separate. The only info i cannot provide, is the formatting options. You would need to check that with your PC first by putting the old drive in your pc and checking the formatting on the old disk, then just format the new one to the same file system and it *should* work. I say should strongly because sometimes there are hidden gremlins in problems like these, and I don't want you to go ruin your player but taking my advice as you would from an LG representative. I do work in the I.T. industry and all of the DVR recorders I have seen just use a normal hard disk with certain filing systems.
Hope this helps, anymore problems, just ask!
