This is the problem I had with a couple of my projectors, one of them I just replaced the bulb and the other needed whole new brains (controller board)

Im not sure sounds like its something internal thats not related to the lamp reset (board or component failure). I have a totally different problem. You need a replacement color wheel (that is the name of the broken plastic disc, likely glass). I have been unable to source one. Recommend you buy a used projector with a bad lamp, usually less than $100 on eBay and just put your good lamp into it. Keep your old one for parts.

Sounds like the lamp needs to be replaced. Does the "lamp" light on the top turn solid orange when it turns itself off? That's an indication that the unit has sensed that the lamp is no longer "good".

Audio Volume

• Press to decrease the volume.
• Press to increase the volume.

Treble
Control the higher frequencies of your audio source.

• Press to decrease the treble.
• Press to increase the treble.

Bass
Control the lower frequencies of your audio source.

• Press to decrease the bass.
• Press to increase the bass.

Mute

• Select the left icon to mute the volume.
• Select the right icon to unmute the volume. .

You need to make sure that the input is correct because there are probabilities that you have it on component.

Thus you need to change it to computer which is RGB (red,green,blue) and then it should work fine.

If your graphic card output signal is "sync on Green", you should have no problem syncing.

apart from that i need more info

1) Replace the power cable or verify that it is working.
2) Verify that the mains supply you are using is working.
3) Check the fuse, if there is one on the body of the projector in a user-servicable location. This would either be a barrel type holder which needs to be unscrewed or a pop-out cartridge type. It will be in the vicinity of the mains inlet. Ensure that the projector is disconnected from the mains before looking for the fuse.
4) If these steps fail to help your projector requires professional repair.
