Check the wiring from your input jack. A short in the connection to the pc board in the amp could cause this . However, are you sure both the supersat and post volume are turned down to reasonable settings? If your distortion channel is too loud, it will feed back and squeal through the speaker.

Your amp has two inputs - Passive and Active. Do you get the same results plugging into either one? If only one works, then the other needs reconnection or replacement.

Have to tried swapping the speaker cables?

The most common fault is the channel;s input connector has come loose from the circuit board. Disassemble to get to that point and re-flow the soplder on all three pins and it will probably be fine. However, also inspect the connector to be sure a leg hasn't broken off, which is the second most common failure point.

That's very likely a dirty input connector.
